New Delhi: Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) on Wednesday reported 7.94 per cent increase in total sales at 3,48,793 units in June.
The company had sold 3,23,136 units in the corresponding month last year, HMSI said in a statement.
HMSI's motorcycle sales, however, declined by 21.46 per cent to 1,12,132 units last month from 1,42,782 units last year.
The company's scooter sales jumped by 31.85 per cent to 2,19,650 units from 1,66,592 units in June 2014, it added.
Exports grew by 23.6 per cent to 17,011 units against 13,762 units in the same month a year ago, it said.
