Zee Media Bureau New Delhi: Homegrown company Micromax has launched its most affordable octa-core processor smartphone Canvas Xpress 2 at Rs 5,999. The smartphone will be available exclusively on online retailer Flipkart via flash sale format.
The first sale is expected to take place on August 4 at 2PM, the registrations for which will end on August 3 at midnight.
Canvas Xpress 2 comes with a 5-inch HD display, 1.4 GHz processor paired with 1GB of RAM, and a 2,500 mAh battery.
The device has 8GB internal storage, a microSD card slot and 1GB RAM. It has a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 comes with a jet black finish and a gold rim.
The smartphone comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS which is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
