Zee Media BureauNew Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi had built a lot of anticipation around its new product launch and the buzz was all over the company's social media. “Build quality that's top of its range. A new Mi product is coming your way on 16 July. Spread the word!,” the company had tweeted hours before the launch of its new TV.
Xiaomi, yesterday at an event in China, unveiled its new Mi TV 2S television. The product as of now will only be available in China starting July 22 while the company has not mentioned any plans for its launch elsewhere.
Lets have a look at five interesting thing about the TV.
1. The Mi TV 2S theatre system comes paired with an independent sound system, that uses the latest Dolby sound technology.
2. The Mi TV 2S features the latest MStar 6A928 chipset and runs MIUI TV based on Android 5.0. It also has a special power plug that has been developed in partnership with Volex.
3. It has the thinnest 9.9 mm aluminum frame of Xiaomi's Mi TV series. The display fully supports 4K lossless quality.
4. The Mi TV 2S comes in five colour variants for its aluminum frames – Silver, Gold, Blue, Pink, Green.
5. The new Xiaomi Mi TV 2S will be available two variants –Standard edition and Cinema edition. The Standard edition will come at CNY 2,999 (Over Rs 31,000), while the Cinema edition has been priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 41,000).
