Sony to launch Windows phone in mid-2014?

New Delhi: Electronics manufacturer Sony might enter into Windows phone market if latest media reports are to be believed.

Reports have surfaced in the media that Sony is 'considering' making windows phone, though nothing concrete can be ascertained as yet.

Media reports also say that Microsoft is in talks with Sony for the phone which might be launched in the middle of this year.

However, the talks are 'yet to reach any conclusion'.

Gadget lovers were equally thrilled when the news of Nokia planning to work on Android phones had surfaced last month. But the company eventually dumped the idea, though the reason why it dumped was never known.

It was even expected that Nokia’s android phone, codename Normandy, would be unveiled sometime in early 2014.
