Zee Media BureauNew Delhi: Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) on Wednesday hailed the new television rating system launched by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) and said it would make the ecosystem transparent.
Stating that the new TV rating system would make the ecosystem transparent and that it would be the best solution to know what the nation is actually watching, Mr Goenka twitted:
“The launch of BARC India’s world class television audience measurement system, makes it a historic day for the entire industry! BARC India on Wednesday launched a brand new television viewership ratings for the broadcasting industry.
BARC India is a joint industry body and will comprised of broadcasters, advertising agencies and advertisers and they will execute the findings fo the new research.
The findings of the new research are being made available to TV channels that have subscribed to the body's data.
