Bangkok: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday said that Thailand is an important pillar of India`s Act East policy and a valued partner.
"Thailand is an important pillar of our Act East policy and a valued partner. Our Government is working on the simple 3C mantra - Commerce, Culture and Connectivity," she said while addressing a business delegation meeting.
Swaraj, who is presently in Thailand on a two-day official visit, further said that the last one year of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has contributed to economic good governance and all round development.
"All the flagship programmes of the new government are planned to act as catalysts to garner untapped economic activity....We are focused on the economic diplomacy as one of our priority areas and have set goals for efficient and timely provision of Consular Services," she added.
