Microsoft has released an update for its Outlook and Office apps for iOS devices.
According to the Next Web, the new update allows the users to open and edit attachments in Word, Excel and PowerPoint more easily.
The Outlook users can now open Office documents that they receive as attachments in their particular apps. If the users do not have the apps installed, Outlook will prompt them to download them with an App Store link.
After the users have edited the document, when they tap Back it will return them to Outlook with their file attached in a reply.
In addition, if the users are working on documents in Word, Excel or PowerPoint, a new 'Send with Outlook' option in the Share menu attaches their file to a new email and allows them to start composing their message instantly.
Microsoft says it will bring these features to Android in the next couple of months.
