Now pay in 'Cash' for your travel fare with Uber

New Delhi: Now, passengers can pay with 'Cash' for their travel fare with Uber besides the usual debit card, credit card and prepaid wallet.

Uber has starting rolling out 'Cash' payment options for passengers besides the cards and prepaid wallet options for the service.

- In a move that many are likely to welcome, Uber has rolled out ‘Cash’ as a payment option.

- The option is being rolled out progressively so if you don’t see it immediately in the app, expect it to appear in the short term.

- Also with this new payment option there is no compulsion to leave a tip; only the exact amount of the trip is expected.

- There is no requirement of a minimum amount in the prepaid wallet in order to utilize the cash payment option.
