Amritsar: Realty firm Alpha G Corp on Friday said it will develop an integrated township in the city with an investment of Rs 650 crore.
The 300-acre township 'Alpha International City' would be developed in three phases on a land owned by Venus County Developers Ltd.
The licence for the first phase of the project, to be developed on 96.17 acres of land has been received from the state government. The company will offer plotted development as well as commercial space in the project.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Alpha G Corp Director and CEO S K Sayal said, "This project will redefine the standards of urban living in cities across Punjab".
The township is a part of Alpha G: Corp's Rs 5,000 crore expansion plan to develop commercial, residential and mixed-use development projects in North India over the next five years.
Alpha G Corp, in which global financial services firm Morgan Stanley has stake, is developing various projects covering more than 40 million sq ft in Gurgaon, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Karnal, Fatehabad, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Goa and Meerut.
