Panaji: Pune-based Gera Developments will have their footprints outside western India for the first time next year, with the development of a residential property in Bangalore.
"We are looking at development of residential property in Bangalore which will be launched in February-March next year," Gera Developments Private Limited Managing Director Rohit Gera told PTI here.
For the first time the group, with more than 40 years of experience in real estate development, would be venturing in South India through its Bangalore property, he said.
"It took 33 years for us to come to Goa, and six years later we are looking at Bangalore," he said speaking about the markets they were looking at after Bangalore venture.
The Bangalore project, coming up in Whitefield area, is a 2,000 flats property, he said.
Gera was here to announce the launch of its Green building commercial project in Panaji. The company already has two commercial and one residential project in the capital city of Goa.
The company has some or the other kind of green features in their buildings depending on locations, he said.
"We have rain harvesting facility in Pune projects which is not there in Goa as the water table of the area where Goa project is situated is very high," Gera added.
