'Secrets and Sins' is captivating!

New Delhi: ‘Secrets and Sins’ by Jaishree Misra is the second in the ‘Secrets’ series after the super successful ‘Secrets & Lies’. The book poses the question - Would you follow your heart if it would break another?

Published by HarperCollins, the novel will be released today by Sharmila Tagore in New Delhi.

The storyline of the book is captivating - fifteen years ago, Riva Singh and Aman Khan had a passionate love affair. Despite their attraction, Riva rejected Aman for reliable Ben, the man who became her husband. Now, Riva is a bestselling London novelist, while Aman is a Bollywood superstar. Both have watched each other from afar but have stayed apart since their painful split.

But Fate appears to have other plans for them as they are thrown together at the Cannes film festival. Aman is torn between his desire for Riva and his young family – not to mention the impact an affair would have on his golden boy public image. Jaishree Misra has written five novels, published by Penguin and HarperCollins, all of which have been Indian best-seller. She has an MA in English Literature from Kerala University and two post-graduate diplomas from the University of London, one in Special Education and the other in Broadcast Journalism. Until recently, Jaishree worked at the Board of Film Classification in London but she now divides her time between England and India.
