London: Adele, who became the biggest-selling artist of the 21st century, still loves to go shopping at the budget store Primark.
According to a new book on the star, the frugal pop phenomenon is addicted to the High Street shop’s cheap and novelty underwear and saves pennies by buying 1 pound knickers, the Daily Star reported.
“She is still the same girl she always has been,” the author Chas Newkey-Burden revealed in the book.
“For instance, one day after she hit the big time she followed a visit to a Louis Vuitton store by going to knockdown-clothes favourite Primark.
“She is a big fan and loves the £1 knickers with all the novelty designs and funny jokes on them. But she knows she can only wear them once, because they just fall apart,” he added.
