Description
  • Brass is one of the 'Panch Dhaatus' or five metals sacred to the Gods.
  • This big brass thaali for performing the pooja contains (clockwise): three 'diyas' to hold the cotton wick flame, a bowl to hold the 'prasada' or sweetmeat offering, a bell, a container with lid for vermilion powder and an incense stick holder.
  • All fixed on the thaali (except the bell), making it easy to handle by children, especially during aartis.
  • All items are made of brass.
