New Delhi: A 55-year-old man was killed and his 29-year-old relative was seriously injured after the roof of a house collapsed in Delhi, police said Monday.
The accident was reported around 10 p.m. Sunday from Paschim Vihar area in west Delhi, police said.
Pradeep Kumar died when the roof caved in and his relative Vipin is battling for his life in a private hospital.
"It was an old two-storey building. The incident occurred after the second-floor roof suddenly collapsed, leaving the victims trapped under the debris. They were later rushed to a nearby hospital," said a police official.
