Narendra Modi will be a great leader; Congress 'mukt bharat' now a reality: Chouhan

Bhopal: With trends indicating that the Narendra Modi-led NDA is set to win over 300 Lok Sabha seats, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan congratulated his Gujarat counterpart and said that 'Congress Mukt Bharat' is now a reality.

Chouhan claimed that the Congress suffered defeat in Lok Sabha polls due to the "arrogant" behaviour of its leaders.

Mocking at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, the BJP leader said the day the grand old party started shielding the Gandhi scion over the possible defeat in the General Elections it was clear that it doesn't believe in innovation and reinvention.

“When Congressis started shielding Rahul, it showed they'll always be in same rut unlike a party which believes in innovating & reinventing,” Chouhan tweted.

Buoyed by the performance of his party in the Lok Sabha polls, the Madhya Pradesh CM tweeted: “This @BJP4India win is unique as it fights successfully many ills of Indian democracy like casteism, dynastyism, Congressism & sectarianism.”
