Dhaka: India is the only unbeaten team in the on-going edition of the ICC World Twenty20. Despite being in Group 2, which was considered as the `group of death`, India went on to beat arch-rivals Pakistan, defending champion West Indies, robust Australia and host nation Bangladesh to book their berth in the semi-finals.

India was the first team to seal a place in the semis of the fifth edition of WT20. They have reached this far for the first time in the coveted tournament since 2007, when they went on to lift the inaugural trophy.

Riding on the performance of their bowlers, especially spinners, India won all their matches comprehensively. In the four matches that India played so far, R Ashwin and Amit Mishra have won two Man of the Match awards apiece. It simply shows the dominance of Indian tweakers.

If Ashwin did wonders with the new ball then Mishra outfoxed even the best in the business, whenever he was introduced into the attack. Mishra has certainly come out as a surprise package for India. His variations are helping him put a doubt in batsmen`s mind. So far, these two have exploited the conditions really well.

Now, to reach in the finals of the World T20, India have to beat South Africa, when both the teams lock horns on Friday at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. It would be interesting to see whether India`s spin magic can choke the proteas or not.
