New Delhi: India opener Shikhar Dhawan, who has been out of competitive cricket ever since he injured a finger while fielding in the 3rd Test against Australia in Mohali, is set to be fit to return to the field soon.
In an interview given to a leading newspaper, the opener who hit the quickest ton on Test debut, said that his finger is healing well and he should be back on the field in a few day’s time.
Dhawan, who will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing Indian Premiere League, is waiting for a clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
