On the second and final day of the IPL 7 auction held here on Thursday, uncapped Indian players have had plenty to gain in financial terms. With as many as 84 players bought by the eight franchises, many domestic players hogged the limelight.
If Yuvraj Singh was the most expensive player on Day 1,
Karn Sharmaearned 3.75 Crores to became the highest paid uncapped player on Day 2. The Railways all-rounder will turn up for Sunrises Hyderabad in the seventh edition of the super-rich cricket league.
Allowed for the first time to bid uncapped players, all the eight franchises took the opportunity to buy little known players. If the Hyderabad franchise spent a fortune for Karn, Kings XI Punjab spent a whopping 3 Crore for
Rishi Dhawan. Dhawan was the highest wicket taker in the recently concluded Ranji Trophy.

Kedar Jadhav with Delhi Daredevils for 2 Crore,
Rajat Bhatia with Rajasthan Royals for 1.70 Crore, Manish Pandeywith Kolkata Knight Riders for 1.70 Crore,
Aditya Tarewith Mumbai Indians for 1.60 Crore and
Ishwar Pandey with Chennai Super Kings for 1.50 Crore.
