New Delhi: Lalit Kumar Modi – who earlier demanded CBI inquiry into spot-fixing and betting scandal, took to Tweetersphere to welcome the Supreme Court`s decision to reject BCCI`s three-member probe panel.

The former commissioner of Indian Premier League (IPL) equated the Indian cricket board to a monster, and tweeted “The BCCI has made no effort to clean up the mess; all members backing Srinivasan are also guilty by association.”

The 50-year-old also took the opportunity to announce his innocence and said “don`t ever doubt my will to fight all of you singly or collectively. When has done no wrong ones heart is clean...”

The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the three-member probe panel proposed by the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) citing conflict of interest in the choice of members. The fresh panel included former India captain and renown commentator Ravi Shastri, former Calcutta High Court Judge JN Patel and former CBI director RK Raghavan.
