Mangalore:Two persons, allegedly involved in betting on the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches were arrested and an amount of Rs 6.5 lakh seized in a raid at an office near Kodialbail, police said on Wednesday.

The raid on the premises of a private financing firm, located in a shopping mall was carried out here last evening on receiving a tip-off, police said.

More such raids would be conducted in the coming days, they said.
