
Johannesburg: South African fast bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe has reportedly successfully undergone an ankle operation.
Tsotsobe went under the knife on Wednesday to alleviate a right ankle posterior talar impingement syndrome, which has been affecting him for the last 18 months.
According to Sport24, Cricket South Africa ( CSA) confirmed the news and wished the quick a speedy recovery.
The report mentioned that the recovery period will be between two to three months, making it unlikely that Tsotsobe will be available for the his team`s tour to Sri Lanka in July although the management will work hard to try have him ready for the tour to Zimbabwe in August.
