New Delhi: Manager of Queens Park Rangers (QPR), Harry Redknapp has said he would be interested to sign Wilfred Zaha if Manchester United were willing to agree to a loan deal.

After switching colors from Crystal Palce to United in January 2013, the winger has made only 2 appearances for the Red Devils.

Speaking to the media ahead of QPR`s Sunday encounter against Tottenham, Redknapp said about Zaha: "If we thought he was available he would certainly be of interest. If they were to loan him I`m sure a lot of clubs would be interested."

A lot was written about Zaha`s relationship with the daughter of then Manchester United manager David Moyes. Hence the Scot shared an uncomfortable equation with the 21-year-old. The England international was subsequently loaned out to Cardiff City for the 2013-14 season.

QPR`s premier striker, Loic Remy has been linked with several clubs for a move away from Loftus Road. After he failed a medical at Liverpool, Redknapp believes the France striker will still be a QPR player post September 1.

The club have already made numerous purchases like Rio Ferdinand, Steve Caulker, Jordon Mutch and Leroy Fer and are now linked to Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas for loan deals.

Sunday will witness Redknapp visit his former club Tottenham Hotspur, where he is expected to get a rousing reception.
