 London: FIFA World Cup winner Franz Beckenbauer is predicting a Germany-Spain final at the European Championships 2012.
The German great, who won the World Cup as a player and manager, fancies a repeat of the Euro 2008 decider which Spain won 1-0.
However, he admits Germany will have to ride their luck to reach the final.
“It is football and anything can happen,” the Sunday Express quoted Beckenbauer, who is also known as “the Kaiser”, he said.
“The ball can hit the inside of the post and bounce out rather than into the goal. But if everything goes according to plan, I can see a Spain-Germany final,” he added.
