Spanish coach sheds ‘boring’ tag for ‘all out attack’ ahead of Euro finalsLondon: Spanish coach Vicente del Bosque has defended his team from accusations of being boring by saying that he will play “three attackers” against Italy in Sunday night’s Euro 2012 final.

Despite leading his nation to a third straight major tournament final, the Spain coach has been criticised for his striker-less system, with Cesc Fàbregas playing as a ``false nine’.

“We will play with three attackers, that is for sure,” The Telegraph quoted Del Bosque, as saying.

“There will be three men up front who will be responsible for attacking and who will not need to defend so much. Everyone on the team has their tasks, whether it is defending or going forward,” he added.

Despite being World and European champions, Del Bosque insisted his team were not the Euro 2012 favourites.

“We cannot think that history influences anything. We have to look to the present. We have played a parallel tournament to Italy: we were in the same group, we both had to get through a knockout game on penalties and our style of play is similar. I don’t think there is a great difference between the two teams,” he said.
