Rio de Janeiro: Napoli and Chile international forward Eduardo Vargas is poised to join Brazilian club Santos.
Vargas is first due to rejoin the Italian club after ending his season-long loan at Gremio, reported Xinhua.
According to Brazilian football website Sambafoot, Napoli have already agreed to terms for the 24-year-old to join Santos in January.
The move would provide a double attacking coup for Santos, who earlier in the week signed Brazil striker Leandro Damiao from Gremio`s Porto Alegre rivals Internacional.
Vargas, who joined Napoli from Universidad de Chile in December 2011, this year scored six goals from 18 matches in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
