Hooda announces cash award of Rs 1 cr to YogeshwarChandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced a cash award of Rs 1 crore to grappler Yogeshwar Dutt for clinching a bronze medal at the London Olympics on Saturday.

Yogeshwar hails from Sonepat district of the state and, taking into consideration the other two medal winners` roots, is the third player from Haryana to bring laurels to the country at the Games.

Earlier, ace shooter Gagan Narang and noted badminton player Saina Nehwal had won bronze medals in their respective disciplines.

Hooda said that Dutt has made the entire nation proud.
