Amit Kumar: was the first wrestler from India to qualify for London Olympics after clinching a gold medal at the Asian Qualifying Tournament earlier this year.
From a very young age Amit was learning the tricks of the trade from top wrestlers after coach Mahabali Satpal took him under his guidance.
He has won gold in World Cadet, Asia Cadet and Asian Junior level.
Amit’s coach considers defence to be his strong point and says that it will make it a tough task for his competitors.
