Manavjt Singh Sandhu, born on 3rd November 1976 in Amritsar, Punjab is a shooter who specialises in trap shooting.

Currently ranked 53rd in the world, Manavjt is an Arjun Awardee just like his father Gurbir Singh Sandhu who was also an international level shooter. Two time Olympian, Manavjt, had won gold medal at the 2006 ISSF World Shooting Championships, bronze medal in the trap event at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, gold at 1998 Commonwealth Games.

He also won silver medals at 1998 Asian Games, 2002 Asian Games, 2006 Asian Games and four gold medals at the Asian Clay Shooting Championships.

Ranked No.1 in 2006, he was conferred with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, the highest honour for any sportsperson in India.
