Sports: Boxing (Light Welterweight)

Boxer Manoj Kumar came to the limelight after winning gold medal in the light welterweight division at Delhi Commonwealth Games I 2010.

He secured a bronze in the 2007 Asian Boxing Championship and another bronze in the 2009 Czech Grand Prix. He won Gold medal in 10th YMCA International Boxing Tournament in 2007.

He has also won a Bronze medal in Olympic Qualifying Boxing Tournament in 2008.

Manoj wants to win a medal in London Olympics for his elder brother Rajesh, an international level boxer, whose dream of taking part in Olympics never realized.
