 London: Russia`s Maria Sharapova ousted Maria Kirilenko in straight sets in an all-Russian semifinal at the Olympic tennis tournament on Friday.
Sharapova swept past Kirilenko 6-3, 6-2, her aggressive style of playing racking up many more winners than Kirilenko, but also far more mistakes at the All England Club.
Sharapova`s opponent in the final will be either top seed Victoria Azarenka or fourth seed Serena Williams.
Kirilenko will play the loser of that match for the bronze medal.
