 New Delhi: There para-athletes – Hitesh Sachdeva, Varun Bhati and Khalile Ahmed -- have qualified for the London Olympics.
Varun got `A` qualification mark in High Jump with a performance of 1.60m, exactly the required qualifying mark, in F42 category.
Hitesh secured `B` qualification in Shot Put F11 category with a performance of 9.56m.
Khalil Ahmed also achieved `B` standard with a performance of 1.72m in High Jump F-44 category while qualification standard is 1.65m.
The three athletes secured berths during the Para National Athletics Championships, being held in Uttar Pradesh.
