Speaking to a news channel, Paes said that his participation in the Games rests on the condition that he is given written assurance that Sania Mirza will partner him in the mixed doubles.

Paes will write to AITA regarding his displeasure at the formula which saw two teams heading to the London Games with the other being Rohan Bopanna and Mahesh Bhupathi.

Earlier AITA decided to send two men's doubles team to the London Olympics 2012.

As per the decision, Rookie Vishnu Vardhan will partner Leander Paes while Mahesh Bhupathi will play with Rohan Bopanna, All India Tennis Association President Anil Khanna said on Thursday.

His father Dr Vece Paes had said that the formula might not be acceptable to Leander Paes.

AITA pressed the need for a code of conduct for the players in the future, Anil Khanna maintained that Bhupathi and Bopanna won't face any disciplinary action
