London: Wrestler Alan Khugaev brought Russia its sixth gold medal of the London Olympics Monday, beating Egypt`s Karam Mohamed Gaber Ebrahim in the final of the men`s 84 kg Greco-Roman wrestling.
Khugaev beat Ebrahim 2-0 to take Russia`s second wrestling gold of the Olympics after Roman Vlasov won the 74 kg category Sunday.
The bronze medals went to Poland`s Damian Janikowski, who beat his French opponent Melonin Noumonvi 3-0, and to Kazakhstan`s Danyal Gajiyev, who gave his country its second wrestling bronze of the day by beating Vladimer Gegeshidze of Georgia 3-1.
