Sopot, Poland: American Nia Ali won the women`s 60m hurdles gold at the World Indoor Athletics Championships at Sopot on Saturday.
Ali timed a personal best of 7.80 seconds to knock defending champion Sally Pearson of Australia into second (7.85sec).
US-born Briton Tiffany Porter took bronze, just one-hundredth of a second off Pearson.
