New Delhi: Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday felicitated sportspersons employed with various police forces who won medals during the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games.



A total of 29 medals were won by these sportspersons in these tournaments.Two Arjuna award winners -- Haryana Police Deputy Superintendent P Sandeep Singh (Hockey) and Inspector Dinesh Kumar (boxing) were also felicitated during the function.



Chidambaram honoured the players with cheques of reward money.
