Ranchi: SSCB edged past Uttar Pradesh by just over four points to clinch the gold medal in the men`s Artistic Gymnastics team championship of the 34th National Games here on Friday.
SSCB scored 394.05 points as against Uttar Pradesh`s 390.02 points. Andhra Pradesh finished third to take the bronze medal with 367.80 points.
In all, there were two gold medals at stake on the third day of the Gymnastic competitions with the women`s Artisitic Gymnastic event slated later in the evening.
So far, seven out of twenty gold medals have been decided in the Gymnastic events.PTI
