Bindra, Heena to lead Indian challenge in World C`ship
Ronjan Sodhi yet again missed out on a berth in the Indian shooting squad, for the ISSF World Championships, and Gagan Narang also failed to make the air rifle team, to be spearheaded by Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra.
No Sodhi in 30-member CWG squad, Bindra to spearhead
Owing to his run of poor form, Asian Games gold medallist Ronjan Sodhi has failed to break into the 30-member Indian squad for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, which will see top shooters such as Abhinav Bindra and Vijay Kumar gunning for podium finishes.
CWG in mind, Sandhu and Sodhi to attend camp
Eyeing selection in the Indian shotgun team for the Commonwealth Games, Manavjit Singh Sandhu and Ronjan Sodhi will look to give final touches to their preparation at a coaching camp here ahead of the ISSF World Cup in Almaty, after which the team for CWG will be picked.
