London: Wimbledon champion Andy Murray and Czech-American legend Martina Navratilova will reportedly lead tennis players in a `rally for cancer` match to help former British No 1 Elena Baltacha, who was diagnosed with liver cancer.
Born in Kiev and raised in Scotland, Baltacha, who retired last year, won 11 singles titles and reached the third round of Wimbledon in 2002, and the match dubbed `Rally for Bally` will boost funds for her Academy Of Tennis and the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
According to the Daily Star, and now the Scot and Navratilova, who overcame breast cancer in 2010, will lead past and current players including Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski and Laura Robson in the charity match to raise money for Baltacha.
The match will take part in mixed doubles matches at tournaments in London, Birmingham and Eastbourne, the report added.
