Cincinnati: World number one Serena Williams powered into the semi-finals of the US Open tune-up at Cincinnati on Friday with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Jelena Jankovic.
Williams, who fell to elder sister Venus in the semi-finals at Montreal last week, needed just 58 minutes to subdue the eighth-seeded Jankovic.
She`ll face either fourth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland or former world number one Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark for a place in the final.
