`Cameron`s Curse of Death` behind Robson`s shock Wimbledon exitLondon: British no.1 Laura Robson may reportedly have fallen victim to a ` curse` by British Prime Minister David Cameron on Monday as she crashed out of Wimbledon following a defeat to Estonian Kaia Kanepi.

According to the Mirror, the teenager, who crashed out just hours after Cameron had wished her, is just the latest in a list of sports stars `jinxed` by the Prime Minister, which include Lewis Hamilton, diver Tom Daley, Andy Murray and the entire England rugby and football teams.

The report further said that Cameron had tweeted best wishes to Robson, saying that she is the 51st Brit woman in the fourth round of Wimbledon after a long time, which was the `kiss of death` for Robson, whose Wimbledon woe was completed when she was also knocked out of the mixed doubles with partner Colin Fleming.

However, the PM did not wish Murray this time, after his good lucks got the Scot in trouble twice before in finals at Wimbledon and the Australian Open, after which Murray powered through to the quarter finals, eventually seeing off Russian Mikhail Youzhny.

The `Curse of Cameron` first struck in 2007, when the PM backed the England rugby union team in the World Cup final against South Africa - before they lost 15-6, with the report adding that he doomed Hamilton just 24 hours later when he lost the Formula One championship by just a point after Cameron said that he had confidence in the driver.

Cameron`s words of encouragement also saw diving pair Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield fail to land a medal at last year`s London Olympics, the report added.
