Shimla: Conceding defeat, the outgoing Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, PK Dhumal said on Thursday that he was taken by surprise as to why the Bhartiya Janata Party lost in the hill state.

“We were confident of a win,” he said.

“If we have not won after doing good work for past five years then we have to introspect as to where we went wrong,” Dhumal added.

At the same time he congratulated the Congress for their good performance.

Dhumal himself won from the Hamirpur seat defeating his nearest Congress rival Narinder Thakur by a margin of over 9,500 votes.

Dhumal had won from Bamsan in 2007 by about 30,000 votes but after delimitation his constituency was scrapped and he had to shift to adjoining constituency of Hamirpur.

dhumal ji main reason is the wrong distribution of tickets mainly in kangra , ignorance of shanta kumar in past five years and the behaviour of booth level worker to the common people.

Loss of BJP in Himachal can not be attributed to one reason but is the out come of total sum of a number of factors. Some of them being infighting at high state levels, corruption at higher levels in the Govt., preferential treatment to a particular caste (also own clan within the caste) in all sectors, including employees in postings, failure in providing justice (that could be provided at the Govt. level) to populace at individual (employees and public level) as well as collective level issues. Appeasement of ive sections of employees at micro level in general at macro level at the cost of the aspirations of general populace in particular. Apart this psyche of the general populace in being able to pull down the arrogant powers from king to pauper (though not correct) level and achieving sadistic pleasure could be another reason. Time is ripe for the politicians to start behaving as real public servants giving results not interfering in decision making in the matters of justice at beurocratic levels and not behaving as stiff necked Govt. functionaries and start teaching the same to its employees at the lower as well higher levels.

DHUMALJI : An enormous increase in the emoluments of Govt.employees ( better known for their changing loyalities } retention and appeasement of PTA teachers { better known as CONG SEPOYS } and the neglect of constitutional demands of CONTRACT employees by denying them their various entitlements and even insulting them by imposing a 2 yrs rider on GRADE PAY { a symbol and token of the dignity of POST }are some immediate factors which went against your party
