Dhumal gets reprieve in CD case with CFL terming it `doctored`

In a major reprieve to Prem Kumar Dhumal, Gujarat-based government forensic laboratory has found that the two CDs in which he allegedly ordered tapping of Union Minister Virbhadra Singh`s phone were "doctored".

Union Minister Virbhadra Singh on Saturday demanded a CBI probe against Himachal Pradesh CM Prem Kumar Dhumal in connection with the controversy over CDs containing the voice of Dhumal ordering tapping of Singh`s telephone.

The Himachal Pradesh vigilance and anti-corruption bureau has sent a questionnaire to Union minister Virbhadra Singh and his former MP wife Pratibha Singh in an alleged graft case.
