Summer is here and scorching!

May, June and July when summer is at its peak could mean a lot of tanning, sweating and feeling disgusted about the weather! But as a single girl, you are definitely hotter than the scorching sun this summer!

They say make hay while the sun shines; I say ‘live’ life while singlehood lasts!

Indeed all single girls need to turn their summer into gold. The freedom, the happiness of not having another douchebag around yourself, holding you back is so much more exciting!

You need to unleash a big style to make this summer last…last in your memory for years to come…

Here are some things to turn your SINGLE summer into GOLD!

For one season of summer ‘LOVE YOURSELF’. Do different things…have the time of your life…do things that you always wanted to do and most of all do things you NEVER thought of doing!

Rent a wicked car and drive around town wit
h your girlfriends. Allow the music to be blaring and yourself half naked sticking out of the sun roof hooting at people on the streets! Talk to the wind, let your hair feel the air and let go of all the consciousness that holds you upright all the time. You need not be well behaved all the time. No one is allowed to judge you and you need to let the inner child out. You could maybe even throw a rose at someone you find cute on a traffic signal. EXPRESS and don’t STRESS!

Travel, get backpacking! Go explore a place you always read about. Be as adventurous as it may get. Plan a trip solo or with friends. Include in the itinerary to travel on the train without a ticket, get a lift on a carrier truck, walk , trek, follow a map on your feet… fall in love with nature… there are some things you can do in your 20s and this is one of them . Remember that at 35 you will probably have two bawling babies in your backpacks! Live in tents, befriend strangers. Interesting and funny things happen when you travel -- and remember, your 20s are your time to live the stories that you'll be telling for the rest of your life.

Date someone out of your type. Date someone who has more tattoos and piercings than brains. It could be quite exciting and a learning experience at the same time, after this you will probably figure out your type even better. Similarly, date someone much older than you (at least by 5 to 20 years). That way you get to learn about matured relationships. It has its pluses. You get to learn from their life experiences besides you get to go on more-expensive dates!

Get to know your parents. Blood is thicker than water and at some point or the other we have all ignored our parents wherein they have always placed us on the top of their priorities. Take your parents to dinner.

You'll probably have to struggle with your dad about paying the check, but this is one of those grown-up things to do. It gives you a chance to show your parents that you are an equal and that you are responsible. It will also show them your appreciation.

Risk your career. Maybe you’re in a job you just do because you studied for that degree all your years in university. But think of a change at this point when you’re single and twenty something. You have no such responsibilities on you and you can explore things you really wanted to do. Take a photography crash course and try taking up a job in that, be a model/dancer. If that is what you enjoy, work at a swank bar in the city as a bartender, do things you dreamt of doing. At 40 when you will be sitting there, doing your desk job this experience will probably give you the adrenaline rush you will most need at that point.

Go and live your summer! Unleash it single style girls! You deserve every bit of it! One season you dedicate to your own self!
