Poha Nugget Biryani in Gwalior

Ingredients
500 gm poha, thick ones
250 gm soya mince Nutella
1 inch ginger, grated
3 onions, chopped
3 tomatoes chopped
1 tbsp channa dal
1 tbsp white urad dal
1 green chilli, chopped
1/2 cup curd
2 tbsp dhaniya powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 small bunch mint leaves
1 small bunch coriander
1/2 cup onions, sliced and pre-cooked
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 gm saffron
1/2 tsp elaichi powder
1tsp ginger and garlic paste
4 tbsp desi ghee
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Method
Pour oil in a pan, add to it channa dal and urad dal, once it becomes a little brown, add chillies, grated ginger and chopped onions. Saute, till the onions turn brown. Then add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped tomatoes. After cooking it for four to five minutes, add dhaniya powder, turmeric powder and kashmiri red chilli powder. Stir, add salt, curd and cook it further. Then add saffron, cardomom, mint leaves, coriander and soya keema. Squeeze lemon in it. Now soak the poha in water for a bit, remove the poha from water and add it to the pan as well. Add to it pre-cooked onions and another round of mint leaves and coriander. Take some water and sprinkle over the poha, cover the pan with a lid. After some time open the lid and add ghee to it, let it cook for three to four minutes and it`s ready to be served. Enjoy.
