Faridabad: Five persons were arrested near Kureshipur village here for allegedly planning a dacoity, police said on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided an area near the village and arrested Zuber, Lakhan and Giriraj, who hail from UP, and Shamsu and Dharamender, who hail from Haryana, a police spokesman said.
Country-made pistols of 315 bore and iron pipes have been recovered from their possession, police said, adding that the gang was planning a dacoity.
The accused have been booked under several sections and an investigation is on, they said.
