Jammu: The BJP on Wednesday alleged that inauguration of programmes by Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan in Arnas area of Reasi district amounted to violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
BJP candidate for Udhampur-Doda constituency Jitendra Singh later forwarded his complaint to the Election Commission and Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.
Singh said the inauguration programme took place at 1 PM, some two hours after the Model Code of Conduct came into force with the announcement of Lok Sabha poll schedule.
