Falling stone kills girl on way to Vaishno Devi

Jammu: A nine-year old girl, on way to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu along with her family, was killed Monday after being hit by a falling stone, police said.

Vidushi, daughter of Rakesh Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, was hit by a falling stone near the helipad in Katra town of Reasi district.

"She died on the spot," a police officer told IANS here.
