Bangalore: In a yet another case of horrific crime against women, five men on August 09, gang-raped a 18-year-old girl here, who is a resident of JC Nagar, reports said on Monday.
According to police, in her complaint the victim stated that she was tricked into accompanying a man who befriended her and then took her to a secluded area.
She was then raped by that man along with four others, reports said.
Reportedly police has got the names of all the five accused. Police also said that they have arrested three of them and a search operation is underway for the other two accused.
As per an english news channel, Additional Commissioner, Bangalore Police, Alok Kumar said, "Medical check has been done on the girl. She is a resident of JC Nagar area and lives with her mother. Her father is dead and the girl is slightly slow, mentally, which might have made her more vulnerable."
