Bhopal: The story of a girl in Madhya Pradesh, who had reportedly lost her parents in the Uttarakhand floods, has now taken a strange turn.
According to reports, the girl had earlier claimed that she had lost her parents in the Uttarakhand tragedy, and was even provided state assistance to tackle the trauma.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who was seen consoling the girl, had even posted a tweet saying she would treat her as a daughter and even get her a job.
Chouhan had tweeted, “State shall do its utmost to trace her family and shall provide her a job to help her. I have nine adopted daughters she will be the tenth.”
After the girl was brought to a Bhopal hospital by state authorities, had failed to recognise one Mahavir Prasad Sharma as her father when he came looking for her. Mahavir, who hails from Bhind, had expressed his grief after her daughter failed to recognise him.
The case has, however, taken a new turn as the girl has finally been sent to Bhind after she reportedly accepted that Mahavir was her father.
According to a report, sources in the Madhya Pradesh government said that the girl might have refused to recognise her parents to get the government job offered to her.
