Washington: Adobe has reportedly released a second security update for its Adobe Flash Player software on both Mac and Windows.
Owing to the severity of exploit, emergency security fixes have been distributed for Internet Explorer 9 and 10, and Adobe Flash.
The update comes after a critical security update that was released just over two weeks ago, fixing the same zero-day vulnerability giving hackers complete control over compromised systems.
According to Cnet, Adobe has patched two versions of Flash Player with an emergency fix, due to a zero-day exploit being used on one of the three known security holes in the software, the company said on its blog today.
Adobe has recommended the fix for people using versions of Internet Explorer (IE). A permanent fix for the exploit is also expected in three weeks or so.
